Coffee originated in Ethiopia (formerly known as Kaffa). Coffee was brought along by the slaves captured from Ethiopia to Egypt. Coffee soon became a very common Egyptian drink. In the 18th century, the first Dutch people brought coffee out of Egypt and they planted coffee in Martinique. Then, the French and Brazilians also brought coffee to their homeland. That is the first step for coffee to be planted all over the world.
The taste of coffee is something very difficult to express, it is based on the perception of many people. Each type of coffee has its own unique flavor and depending on the choice of each person.
Arabica color is brown, looks fine, paste and smooth. When enjoying, a good cup of Arabica will give a characteristic bitter taste, a rather gentle and seductive aroma, little sour or fruity taste to neutralize the bitterness.
Robusta is also bitter but fragrant, not sour like Arabica. We can also combine these 2 flavors together with a neutralizer like cocoa or chocolate in a certain dose to be able to enjoy the taste better.
Usually, people often apply the formula: 30% Arabica coffee, 40% Robusta and the last 30% is a neutral coffee or cocoa. However, if you like to enjoy coffee in your own way, you can completely change the above recipe to suit you best.
